Secondary Admissions Process

Years 7-11

Years 7-11

Applicants are required to sit entrance examinations in English and Mathematics. After the examinations are marked, short-listed candidates may be invited for an interview. Parents of all applicants will be advised of the final admission decision by telephone and email, following this meeting.

Scholarships are available for Year 7 applicants only. Those applicants, who wish to be considered, must sit examinations in English and Mathematics. The date of the examination for September 2024 will be November 18th, 2023. Please contact admissions@bhs.bm for more information.

The following documents are required from all applicants:

A completed BHS application form and non-refundable $75 application fee
A copy of the applicant's last two report cards, including the most recent
A copy of the applicant's birth certificate or passport
A character reference
A copy of the applicant's Entry / Re-entry Permit from the Bermuda Department of Immigration, if possible
Full disclosure of all relevant information pertaining to the applicant's physical, mental, behavioural and emotional state and any psycho-educational assessments, diagnoses of learning disabilities and/or learning related issues and provision of all relevant documentation in its entirety. failure to do so, may result in a future place offer being revoked.

All place offers are made following the above in conjunction with an interview.
