Financial Aid

We believe that all students should have the chance to fulfil their potential, regardless of their financial situation. Each year, BHS awards over $1 million in financial aid to families who need extra support.

Financial aid forms are available starting in early January and are due back by early April. The selection process is conducted in March/April each year for awards for the following school year, which commences in September. Due to limited financial aid funds, applications are discouraged after the initial selection process. Applications for financial aid must be completed annually.

Letters will be sent to inform applicants whether they have qualified for financial aid and, if so, the amount awarded. Financial aid is credited to the school fee account based on the fee option chosen: annually, per term, or monthly. For more information or further assistance, please email bursaries@bhs.bm.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for entry into Years 4, 5, 6 and 7. Scholarships are offered based on academic merit or on criteria established for specific scholarships. 

The Bermuda High School students have been the beneficiaries of scholarships awarded by international companies. Generally, such scholarships are needs-based and are only open to Bermudian children who demonstrate strong results in scholarship examinations. Such scholarships may be changed due to market conditions and the company's changing priorities.

Scholarships are awarded in May/June of each year. Scholarship recipients will receive letters informing them of their annual awards. Scholarships are credited to the school fee account depending on the fee option chosen: annually, per term, or monthly.
