Welcome to The Bermuda High School 

Welcome to Bermuda High School (BHS), a school with a proud history and a forward-looking vision. For more than 130 years, BHS has been at the forefront of education in Bermuda, inspiring students to embrace the future with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.

Our graduates go on to become leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, doctors, artists, community advocates, and innovators across a wide range of fields. At BHS, academic excellence is enriched by innovative, collaborative, and interdisciplinary learning experiences that prepare students for an ever-changing world.

From Primary through Secondary, our programmes are designed around how girls learn best, creating an environment where every student is encouraged to discover their strengths, develop their talents, and build a strong sense of self. In our Senior Years Programme, we proudly offer Bermuda’s only A-Level programme alongside the island’s longest-established International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. Boys are welcomed into the BHS community at this stage, creating a dynamic and diverse learning environment.

Our students leave BHS not only well prepared for tertiary education but also equipped to navigate the opportunities and challenges of their futures. Through a wide range of academic, athletic, artistic, and leadership opportunities, students develop confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and the skills needed to thrive in a complex world.

As a Round Square school, BHS provides students with meaningful global experiences that bring learning to life beyond the classroom.
