As a school with the Mission to educate young women to the highest international standards, it is important for us to compete on a global scale. Not only are we an International Baccalaureate School, and a Global Round Square Member, but we are also accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and are a member of the International Coalition of Girls' Schools (ICGS). These associations ensure that we  provide the best education to our students.

In November, 2014 BHS received accreditation by the Council of International Schools,  joining over 400 schools worldwide. Schools that are CIS accredited have demonstrated their dedication to providing a high quality education in an international context. They demonstrate a commitment to inspiring excellence in their students as well as developing the whole individual.  They also foster, and model, self-evaluation and self-improvement.  Colleges and universities worldwide acknowledge that CIS Accredited schools develop the standards and the qualities they seek in their students.
