Bermuda High School is implementing a new online communication tool called Edline, which is intended to improve parent-teacher-student-school communication. This web site provides timely and relevant information to the school community in a variety of ways and will become a companion to our BHS web page. Edline will transform our website into an extraordinary extension of our school, where each visitor sees the exact targeted information that we want made available. Activation for parents and students will begin 1^st of March 2006 and continue to be phased into the School's active use until full implementation is completed. FAQ

Q: How do I access Edline? A: BHS has already created an Edline account for you. It is linked to information about you (like grades). To keep this information private, your account is protected by an "activation code" until you choose your own screen name and password. Activation codes for parents and students were mailed home in March. Parents who have more than one child at BHS may receive more than one activation code however you can combine your accounts into a single account. Once you have your activation code visit the following page: www.edline.net

Q: I have not received my Edline Activation code. How do I go about getting this code? A: Send an email to mthorpe@bhs.bm with your child's full name and Year Group.

Q: I have activated my account. Do I need to keep the activation code? A: No! You will now access Edline using the screen name and password you created during the activation process.

Q: I have forgotten my screen name and or password. What should I do? A: First try the link at Edline that will send your information to the email address that your provided during the activation process. If that does not work or you did not provide an email address you will need to send an email to mthorpe@bhs.bm with your child's full name and their Year Group stating that your forgot your user name or password.

Q: How often will information be updated? A: Different subjects assess students in different ways so it will depend on the subject.

Q: I do not see my question listed - where can I get more help? A: Read through the help at Edline or email mthorpe@bhs.bm . Be as specific as possible when describing your problem or request.
