BHS Annual Appeal

While tuition meets the majority of operating costs at BHS, there is always a gap between what we
must provide to our students and teachers to make sure we are meeting our educational objectives,
and what we know would enhance the school experience if we had additional funding.

The Annual Appeal provides that critical additional funding for those areas identified as priorities by
the BHS Board, faculty and administrative staff: technology, facilities, staff development and
financial assistance for students.

The use of SMART Boards, the opportunity for additional learning and development for teachers, the
refurbishment of classrooms, the provision of financial aid and the creation of comfortable meeting
and study spaces for students are just some of the areas in which funds raised through our Annual
Appeal have been applied.

The sum total is an educational experience that inspires our students and teachers to be, and do,
their best.
