My vision for the school is that all of the students will reach their academic potential, become well-rounded and acquire the understanding, knowledge and skills to be responsible local and global citizens and lifelong learners. The students will be encouraged to develop independent, lively, enquiring minds with the ability to think clearly, creatively and critically. Emphasis will be placed on ensuring that the learning environment throughout the school is stimulating, nurturing, caring, supportive, inclusive and world-class. I believe that every student has strengths which we will hone and highlight. By now you should have received your copy of the 2009 Torchbearer. I strongly feel that the partnership between the school community and the family provides the support and encouragement that ensures an excellent platform for the growth and development of all of our students. A key ingredient to an ongoing successful partnership between the home and school are open, consistent and respectful communications.
